The project

Developed as part of a course at the Vogue College of Fashion, exploring creative direction as both a conceptual and a collaborative process. It began with a loose narrative — a woman in her 30s, an artist preparing for an exhibition opening — and the concept evolved organically through studio discussion, styling decisions and feedback.

The final outcome took the form of a three-image still life series centred on an absent figure, using a chair as a symbolic anchor. The images trace a narrative arc from disarray to resolution, transforming still life styling into storytelling.
